At the North American Training Academy in Grand Prairie, Texas, the skills of more than 1,500 pilots and technicians are honed annually, serving a full range of civil, law enforcement, military, and parapublic operators in one of the world's largest markets for Airbus-built helicopters.
North American Training Services
The North American Training Academy is co-located at the Grand Prairie headquarters of Airbus Helicopters, Inc., where the company's resources come together for technical support, customer support, administration, sales and marketing in the United States.
Training courses cover the broad scope of users' needs tailored to their mission requirements, along with meeting local regulations as well as international standards.
Through a combination of experience, insight, and the latest technology, the Academy provides the highest level of training to both pilots and maintenance technicians. It has more than 50 year of experience in military and commercial helicopter programs, backed by unmatched levels of experience with the Airbus family of rotorcraft. Full access for its training personnel is provided to Airbus Helicopters' program teams in France and Germany.
