Airbus’ Silicon Valley Innovation Center, Acubed, was founded in 2015 with a mission to build the future of flight. Acubed’s work is high-value, high-impact innovation and positions Airbus to excel as a global aerospace leader by focusing on technical domains such as artificial intelligence, autonomy, data analytics, rapid prototyping and digital communication – all areas where Silicon Valley has a clear competency advantage. Opened in 2016, the Airbus Experience Center in Washington D.C. is a collection of interactive, multimedia exhibitions highlighting the extensive role the company plays in the U.S. aerospace and defense industries, as well as visually featuring the continuing evolution of technology in the industry worldwide. The Experience Center also serves as a hub for gatherings of industry groups from around the world, providing high-tech event and office facilities in the center of the Nation’s Capital.
